CDP Accredited

Since 2010, Ecometrica has been a carbon calculation partner of the CDP, formerly the Carbon Disclosure Project – a leading independent not-for-profit organisation holding the largest database of primary corporate climate change information in the world. The ongoing accreditation is a significant endorsement for Ecometrica and follows an extensive independent evaluation by the Greenhouse Gas Management Institute of Ecometrica’s enterprise environmental accounting software, Our Impacts.
Thousands of organisations from across the world’s major economies measure and disclose their greenhouse gas emissions, environmental interests, sustainable supply chain information and climate change strategies through the CDP.
Joanna Lee, chief partnerships officer of the CDP said, “The evaluation of Our Impacts demonstrated the valuable support that Ecometrica can provide companies through the data gathering process. We are delighted to welcome Ecometrica as a carbon calculator partner.”
Richard Tipper, managing director of Ecometrica, said: “This accreditation underscores the credibility of Our Impacts and is a testimony to the pioneering work by the team. We have successfully completed a large number of environmental assessments across a wide range of sectors, and our work with the Carbon Disclosure Project will now enable us to collaborate and share this experience and best practice across the CDP community.”
Ecometrica’s analysts have carried out over a thousand greenhouse gas assessments for companies and governments around the world. This first-hand experience caused us to develop Our Impacts, a class-leading energy, waste, water, travel and carbon accounting software service that is maintained and constantly updated by expert environmental analysts.
It measures all greenhouse gases, not just carbon dioxide, as well as handling Scope 3 emissions, and performs all the appropriate calculations for you, so you don’t have to hunt for emission factors yourself. This delivers considerable and significant efficiency gains over conventional calculation methods, while safeguarding quality and accuracy at each stage.
