Research

We collaborate with universities and other institutions to provide high-quality research and analysis. As well as contributing to both public and privately funded research projects, Ecometrica also publishes a series of technical and summary papers related to climate change mitigation and the assessment of ecosystem services (see Publications for more details).

Ecometrica has strong links with the University of Edinburgh’s School of GeoSciences, and we have also worked with Imperial College, London, Aberdeen University, Cranfield University, Forest Research, and the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA).

Policy

Ecometrica provides services for appraising, reviewing, and informing the development of climate change mitigation policies and programmes.

We have worked with the UK’s Department for Energy and Climate Change (DECC), Department for Transport, the Renewable Fuels Agency, the Norwegian Government, NGOs, and research institutions.

We also work with businesses and other stakeholders who wish to inform public policy. If you’d like to know more, we’d love to hear from you.
