Through our software we provide market-leading sustainability and Environmental, Social, and Government (ESG) products to assist companies with creating accurate environmental reports. Who are we looking for?
An experienced back-end developer, who is a fluent English speaker, and has the legal right to work in the UK. At Ecometrica we value people who are curious, take the initiative and are proactive in solving problems. If you don’t have all of the skills/experience mentioned below, but can demonstrate an ability to learn and develop on the job, we still want to hear from you.
We expect applicants to clearly demonstrate practical experience with:
- Building and maintaining scalable web applications (i.e. SaaS)
- Using effectively & efficiently the cloud (i.e. serverless computing)
- Using effectively & efficiently relational databases (e.g. functions, triggers, multi-tenant architecture)
- Using interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships up, down, and across the organisation with the ability to understand different perspectives, and needs.
- Understand the product’s requirements
- A good level of maturity, emotional intelligence along with excellent time and organisational skills
Your application will benefit significantly from demonstrating previous experience with using some or all of the following tools: AWS, POSTGRESQL/POSTGIS, and Python

A salary based on experience starting at £45,000
