Heritage Oil selects Ecometrica Sustainability for Mandatory Carbon Reporting

17th February 2014– Ecometrica, provider of the world’s most widely used sustainability management software, is delighted to announce that Heritage Oil PLC, an independent oil and gas company, has selected Ecometrica Sustainability to manage its mandatory carbon reporting obligations under new UK legislation that requires main-market London-listed firms to publicly state their annual emissions.

Heritage Oil is an independent oil and gas exploration and production company based in Jersey and listed on the London and Toronto Stock Exchanges. Heritage typically focuses on regions which may have been overlooked and where it can participate as an early entrant. The company acquired OML 30 in Nigeria back in 2012 and has since reported record gross production, as illustrated in its 2013 interim results.

Heritage Oil have commissioned Ecometrica’s Ecometrica Sustainability solution to manage its sustainability profile in order to be completely ready for, and fully compliant with, UK mandatory carbon reporting regulations.
