Ecometrica has just started working with SThree on their sustainability reporting requirements across scopes 1, 2 and 3, to enable them to comply with relevant legislation and meet their ambitious targets.
SThree has over 3,000 employees working worldwide across 14 locations and a £1.6bn revenue in 2022. Headquartered in London, England, SThree’s focus is on placing STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) talent in forward-thinking companies, bringing skilled people together.
In 2022, SThree set out to find a sustainability partner that would help them reach their ambitions and correspond to their needs. They required a robust tool to record and calculate their carbon emissions in order to efficiently analyse and publish their carbon data. They wanted their future partner to be able to support the company in terms of its carbon reduction targets, in order to deliver compliant carbon data reporting across scopes 1, 2 and 3. Among their more specific needs, they were looking to be able to comply with relevant reporting legislation, streamline online processes, have support on CDP and SECR reporting, and work with Science-Based Targets.
The company’s strategy includes reducing their own carbon emissions and ensuring clients’ have access to the STEM talent they need to transition to a low carbon economy. An important pillar of this strategy includes the absolute reduction of SThree’s carbon emissions by 25% by 2024. Between 2019 and 2021, SThree managed to produce an impressive 71% reduction in their carbon emissions, placing them on the Financial Times’ inaugural list of European Climate Leaders in 2021. This displays their strong commitment and ambition in reaching their set ESG targets.
At Ecometrica we pride ourselves on the customized support we are able to provide every client, as each client’s needs can differ greatly. This was a leading factor as to why we were chosen as SThree’s preferred vendor. We are looking forward to an exciting partnership with the SThree team.
